5 stars is not enough for this gym! Cody Miller, the owner is so dedicated to the well being of all of the members. I have been a member for over two years and in those two years, I have competed in two power lifting competitions.
In addition my personal coach Kevin Peters is absolutely amazing and patient. The group setting/coaching allows you to come in and do your prescribed workout for the day on your own platform while getting coached on each of your lifts. The workout equipment is also top notch but the real value is the comradery amongst members and the rest of the elite coaching staff!
I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to increase their strength and mobility in a fun supportive environment.

Three times a week I drive almost an hour one way to train at the Strength Parlor. People have asked me why I would drive that far just to workout! Well to me it’s not working out, it’s training and if they have to ask the difference I wouldn’t be able to explain it. You see I’m not finished, I still have goals, both in and out of the gym. To my knowledge the only place I know to accomplish those goals is at the Strength Parlor. There you receive outstanding instruction, programming, coaching and nutritional guidance in an individual or group setting. The SP coaches are the best! I feel privileged to train alongside great people, each working toward their individual goals while encouraging others. I’ve jokingly said that training at the SP is the highlight of my day, but really I’m serious. 💪🏻

I love the family atmosphere at The Strength Parlor. Everyone is made to feel very welcome and important. Now onto the health and strength aspects these coaches have helped me with. I started about 5 1/2 years ago barely being able to lift 45 pounds off the floor and not knowing how to do a proper squat. Now I am deadlifting 200+ pounds on a regular basis and squatting 165 pounds. My total health has improved. The coaches have helped me work through injury without giving up lifting. This community has helped me through emotional challenges not only physical. The place is AMAZING. Come join us!

Such an amazing gym with some of the strongest and best lifters/members and coaches in St. Louis! TSP is truly one of a kind — the equipment is top-notch, the coaches are so knowledgeable and supportive, and the “gym family” is so welcoming and kind. You get a structured unique/individualized training program, and the coaches are very quick at responding to any questions or concerns. The group training sessions allow you to lift with other members, motivate each other in breaking PRs, and still get instant feedback on your form from the coaches. For me, it’s worth every penny and the 30min drive.

Not just another “gym”. Strength Parlor offers personalized weight training in a relaxed and supportive setting. Your first few sessions are 1 on 1 with Coach Cody then you move to group coaching after proper form and basic dynamics are achieved. Coaches are highly qualified in strength training and tailor your training schedule based on your individual needs and personal schedule. I started with zero experience and no previous athletic ability. I could barely perform a squat my first day 6 months ago. Now I’m squatting 145#. I’m very happy with my results and look forward to each training day. It’s truly an amazing place with amazing people!

Excellent gym with incredible service.
I went for a class to have an experienced coach correct my technique on a few lifts, but I was blown away by how courteous and inviting everyone was. Several of the regular members introduced themselves as soon as I arrived. The coaching I received quickly cleaned up some of the mistakes I was making.
Unfortunately, I live too far away to regularly attend, but if you live in the area and are interested in barbell training or just curious about training in general, I would not hesitate to give them my business.

Great coaching for all ages. I have been with the coach owner for 9 years. When I started I had no idea what I would be doing and have gotten strong enough to compete in Powerlifting competitions. I will be 80 years old in August and have won 7 state, 3 national and one world titles. I can’t stop getting older but I can be a healthy senior citizen plus I am having the time of my life.
